Garland Bay offers some amazing waterfront camping spots, and is a local favourite. The area is split into two sites which are a good distance away from each other. Garland Bay North offers drive-in camping spots with space for RVs, and a boat launch. Garland Bay South (Bernard Beaches) has a couple pull in sites, but the best camping is found along the water. If you’re willing to hike your gear down the slope you can set up right on the pebble beach.

The swimming is awesome and most sites have a good amount of privacy. During the summer months a caretaker may stop by in the evenings to collect money for the site, but it’s not super expensive.

This is also a good site to stay at if you’re going to be hiking Mount Loki, as the turn off for the hike is just a few kilometres away.
